The sturdy, single-stalked plants carry cylindrical ears of about 7 1/2 inches, filled right out to the tip, holding 12 to 16 kernel rows and protected by good husk cover. Maturity is early to mid-season. As an sh2 type it needs warm soil to germinate and should be separated from other corn, but the kernels are very sweet and keep well after harvest.
