Overview
Table Ace is a Petoseed F1 acorn hybrid from 1976 grown on a vigorous semi-bush plant that stays compact early and sends out short runners later in the season. Fruit is deep green-black, moderately ridged and about 2.5 pounds, with golden flesh that is nearly free of fibers. Plants are very productive, commonly setting five to seven fruit, and the squash stores well. Its wide adaptation and tidy habit make it a good acorn for gardens where a full vining type would sprawl too far. Ready in around 70 days from sowing.
