Overview
Cluster Grande is an indeterminate hybrid bred by Jim Waltrip and released by Seminis-Petoseed in 2000. It bears trusses of 5 or 6 glossy red fruits weighing 5 to 7 ounces, round to slightly oblong and very uniform, and they are exceptionally resistant to cracking. Resistance includes Fusarium wilt races 1 and 2, Verticillium wilt, Alternaria stem canker and tomato mosaic virus. It ripens early, around 63 days, and needs the usual tall stake or trellis for a vining plant. Similar to Monica, it was aimed at home gardens.
