The fruit runs about 8 to 12 oz and matures early for its size, with a pink-and-green streaked exterior and a marbled pink, red and gold interior. Flavor is rich, sweet and complex. Indeterminate plants are fairly stout and productive; grafting onto Submarine rootstock boosts vigor but is not necessary. The skin is very thin and the fruit does not keep, and catfacing can be common. Water evenly to limit cracking and stake or cage as the vine grows.
