Overview
Premio is a cluster-type hybrid meant to be picked vine-ripe on the truss. Indeterminate plants grow beyond 24 inches and set round red fruit of about 4 oz in clusters of six to eight. Resistances include Fusarium wilt races 1 and 2, Verticillium wilt race 1, gray leaf spot, and tobacco mosaic virus. Harvest starts about 68 days after transplanting (near 117 days from seed). Stake or trellis so the heavy clusters hang cleanly, and pick whole trusses for a market-style presentation.
