Suhyo Cross, also sold as 'Shantung Suhyo Cross', is a hybrid sooyow-type slicer with roots in northern China. The vines bear dark green, non-bitter fruit 10 to 14 inches long; without a trellis the fruit curls, so vertical support is close to essential. It tolerates dry weather, and also cucumber mosaic virus and both mildews. About 60 days to harvest.
